Thank you for choosing DocFizz! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DocFizz's services.

When we say "Company", "we", "our", or "us" in this document, we are referring to DocFizz. When we say "Services", we mean any product created and maintained by DocFizz, including our document sharing and tracking service available at app.docfizz.com.

When we say "You" or "your", we are referring to the individuals or organizations that own an account with our Services.

By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

Account Terms

1. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. DocFizz cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
2. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
3. You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
4. You may not use the Services for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
5. You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.

Payment, Free Trial, and Subscription Terms

1. The Services are offered on a subscription basis with a 7-day free trial period.
2. Credit card information is required to start your free trial.
3. After the trial period, you need to pay in advance to keep using the Service. If you do not pay, we will freeze your account and it will be inaccessible until payment is made.
4. All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. Where required, we will collect these taxes on behalf of the taxing authority.

Usage and Storage

1. You are granted a reasonable amount of storage space to use the Services. We reserve the right to modify storage limits for subscriptions at any time.
2. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:
   • Illegal content
   • Adult or pornographic material
   • Malicious software
   • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
   • Content intended to harass or abuse others
3. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

Data Security and Privacy

1. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
   • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
   • We maintain regular backups (daily incremental and weekly full backups)
   • Backups are retained for 30 days
2. We use third-party service providers to deliver our Services:
   • Amazon S3 for file storage
   • Stripe for payment processing
3. We will never sell your data or use it for purposes other than providing and improving the Services.

Cancellation and Data Deletion

1. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
2. Upon cancellation:
   • Your content will be immediately inaccessible
   • All content will be deleted from active systems within 24 hours
   • All content will be permanently deleted from our backup systems within 30 days
   • We cannot recover this information once it has been deleted

Service Availability and Changes

1. We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
2. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
3. We may change pricing with 30 days notice to account holders.

Limitation of Liability

You expressly understand and agree that DocFizz shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

• Damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from inability to use the Services
• Damages resulting from any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Damages resulting from any bugs, viruses, or other malicious code that may be transmitted through the Services

Copyright and Content Ownership

1. You retain all rights to your content. We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Services.
2. By uploading content to DocFizz, you grant us a license to use, host, and share your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify account holders of significant changes via email at least 30 days in advance.
